WHO WE ARE
The Oxford Area Recreation Authority (OARA) is a Pennsylvania municipal authority incorporated in 2003 to provide shared recreation facilities for a population of approximately 25,000 residents of East Nottingham Township, West Nottingham Township, Elk Township, Lower Oxford Township and the Borough of Oxford. We serve approximately 65 square miles.
The OARA is dedicated to providing quality visitor experience in the Oxford Area Regional Park by providing an attractive, safe, and clean environment with quality facilities and effective public service. The OARA will work in partnership with other community organizations, government entities and individuals to plan, direct, manage and evaluate the operation of the park in an accountable manner befitting resourceful public service.
Meeting Date and Time: Third Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm at Lower Oxford Township Municipal Building - 220 Township Rd. Oxford PA 19363. Public is invited to attend.
